Drip drop
Drip drop, the sound of rain out my door
Waiting for the heavy rain to pour
Feeling sleepy, so I started to snore
Remembering that I still have to do the chores
Singing to a song while sweeping the floor
Till I heard a song that made me feel bore
It was our theme song when we were four
I still remember when we used to play near the shore
We used to collect shells and tell who has more
Bought our favorite candy in the same candy store
But all these things are from before
You left me before we became a sophomore
Need to buy some medicine because I was feeling sore
So I went to buy some at the drugstore
Then I saw you waving at the front door
Instead of waving back, I walked out and ignore
I didn’t forget you, but we’re done for
I was your best friend but not anymore
We did hurt ourselves to the core
I would not like to see you cry like before
As I run back home, I opened the front door
Removed my shoes and return my umbrella on the floor
Got inside the room listening to the sound of the rain that poured
Drip drop let’s not go back in the past that we had always adored.
